Collection: Freshwater shrimps

Common in streams and aquariums, they are omnivorous cleaners (detritivores) that feed on algae, biofilm, and organic debris. Popular species range from transparent to vibrant colors (red, blue, yellow) due to breeding, and they are essential for algae control.

Many species are translucent, allowing for camouflage, while others are selectively bred for bright colors like blue (Blue Dream), red (Cherry), or white (Snowball).

Females often carry eggs, appearing "berried," for 2–3 weeks under their swimmerets, often spawning in established, stable water conditions.

Prefer planted tanks with hiding spots, driftwood, and established, clean water.

Omnivores that thrive on algae, biofilm, and specialized shrimp food.
